General comments
Behandelduur bij Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP) maximaal 8 dagen.
Bij antibiotische keuze rekening houden met kolonisatie/eerdere kweken.
Bij verdenking Pseudomonas infectie: benzylpenicilline iv 1miljoen IU 4 dd + ceftazidim iv 2000 mg 3 dd. Overweeg bij ernstig zieke patient toevoegen tobramycine iv 7 mg/kg 1 dd totdat resistentie bekend is.
