Aanpassen op geleide van kweek.
Na 1 week evaluatie van iv behandeling met arts-microbioloog en/of internist-infectioloog om eventueel te switchen naar oraal regime.
Totale behandelduur 6 weken.
Bij hemoglobinopathie: houd rekening met Salmonella (zie hoofdstuk Osteomyelitis bij sikkelcelziekte)
