General comments
Altijd internist-infectioloog in consult voor focusonderzoek.
Na 1 week evaluatie van iv behandeling met arts-microbioloog en/of internist-infectioloog om eventueel te switchen naar oraal regime.
Totale behandelduur 4 weken, tenzij op klinische of microbiologische gronden 6 weken geïndiceerd is, in overleg met infectioloog of arts-microbioloog.
NB: flucloxacilline per os heeft niet de voorkeur gezien de lage biologische beschikbaarheid.
