Alleen toepassen bij bewezen dragerschap en aanwezigheid van risicofactoren voor neonatale groep-B-streptokokkenziekte:

vroeggeboorte (<37 weken)
langdurig gebroken vliezen (>18-24 uur)
maternale koorts durante partu (≥37,8°C)
maternale GBS-kolonisatie, waarvan een urineweginfectie/bacteriurie door GBS tijdens de zwangerschap een uiting is
vrouwen die eerder een kind kregen met GBS ziekte
