In geval van exogene endopthalmitis worden alléén intravitreale antibiotica aanbevolen. Systemische antibiotica zijn in principe niet geindiceerd. |

General comments
Denk bij post-traumatische endopthalmitis afhankelijk van het beloop en type trauma ook aan een schimmelinfectie. In dat geval wordt toediening van amfotericine B 0,005 mg intravitreaal geadviseerd.
